I cannot begin to recommend the spitting pig enough. They catered for my wedding and everyone was blown away by their food. They were professional from start to finish and really made the day special. The initial booking was easy and simple, they contacted me a few days before to come firm the details and on the way they were amazing. They brought everything to set up and clear away! Besides all the that, the food was divine. The only thing I am sad about was not having thirds!!! 10/10 recommend them. Thank you!Posted on Google

Josh15 days agoFive stars all round. Spitting Pig catered our hog roast and were brilliant - punctual, self-sufficient, and clearly thoughtful about how they worked. Food was served bang on time, the hog roast and stuffing were excellent, and the pulled jackfruit was a great veggie option too. Good sauces, quality bamboo plates, and they left zero mess behind. Ellis and the team were lovely throughout. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends.Posted on Google

We have used several caterers over the years for our annual events—some better than others—and honestly didn’t think our previous caterer could be beaten. However, The Spitting Pig Co. has officially taken the trophy! There wasn’t a single bad word said about the food—in fact, there weren’t many words spoken at all, apart from the occasional “Ooooh” and “Mmmmm!” Ste and his sous chef were absolutely brilliant: friendly, professional and a real credit to the company. The food was unbelievably tasty. We chose the slow-roasted brisket, BBQ pork butt and Cajun chicken thighs, served with mixed fries, corn cobettes and a Greek salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. Some guests went back for thirds and fourths—not because the portions were small, but because they simply couldn’t get enough! I honestly can’t recommend The Spitting Pig Co. highly enough and wouldn’t hesitate to book them again. In fact, I’m about to email them now to reserve them for our Christmas party—the festive menu looks amazing!Posted on Google

They were catering for 17 kids and about 50 Adults.Tony and his team were brilliant, they arrived early and worked tirelessly to ensure we had a great day. Everyone complimented the hog roast, and we had many say that it was the best they had ever eaten! I would also like to say that the staff went above and beyond. They were so, so lovely! Paul Mann48 days agoWe used Spitting Pig for a reward meal for 90 staff. Chose the Southern Slow Roast Menu which was absolutely brilliant. Food was awesome and well set out. Alan Graham55 days agoBooked these guys as catering for our wedding reception. They did a fantastic job, no fuss, just set up served some amazing food then left quietly. They were so communicative and helpful in planning our menu and the food they provided on the day was brilliant, just what everyone wanted. We received so many comments from our guests praising the catering, it really contributed to everyone having such a good time. If you have an event where you want relaxed, hassle-free food that tastes great for a reasonable price, these guys are a great shout.Posted on Google

Sonia Holland64 days agoWe hired the Spitting Pig company to cater our wedding. We wanted a relaxed garden party at home but didn’t want the work involved of catering the event. The Spitting Pig was exceptional from beginning to end and gave us exactly what we wanted. Out event hosts were Chris and Kayleigh, Kayleigh was our initial contact and dealt with the ordering and menu choices in the 1st instance. She was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We had a dairy allergy (My Mom), 2 Celiac and some vegetarians and she put me at ease straight away and assured me this would be no problems and even offered to make a diary free Mac and Cheese. (My Mom loved this and even asked to take the leftovers home) Chris was present on the day; he was brilliant too. He arrived in good time, and we even felt comfortable enough to leave him at our home to set up as we left to get married and when we come back, everything was ready and sorted for us. The food was superb; everyone commented on how good the meat was and how lovely the whole set up was. After they had finished serving, they cleared away even took the rubbish away with them, you would never have known they had been. I would highly recommend The Spitting Pig and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. 5 Star service from beginning to end. Very personal able, friendly and professional and amazing food.Load more
