Hog Roast Norwich are experts in creating memorable events, from staff events to weddings, we have seen it all. Last Thursday’s celebration was no different for us, even with 225 hungry mouths to cater for!
What better way to mark a magnificent milestone such as a graduation than with fantastic food and great company. That is exactly what we set out to provide on Tuesday 5th October and when Hog Roast Norwich set up at The Space Conference centre, the graduates and their supportive friends and family knew they were in for a treat.
Caps and gowns, proud families, and heartfelt speeches and as well as a delicious meal to bring everyone together, what more could our guests ask for? It was a big day for all of the graduates, a mixture of nerves and excitement wasn’t the only thing that filled the room this day as the mouthwatering scent of our signature slow roasted hog could be smelt for miles.
As the guests were collecting their well earned diploma’s our catering team and managers Paul and Ria were hard at work preparing our main event as well as the delicious sides.
At 11am the guests began to fill their plates with our succulent pork which was paired with traditional sage and onion stuffing, sweet and tart apple sauce and a selection of fresh bread rolls and wraps, with gluten-free options available on request which meant no one went hungry on our watch! Although the hog roast may have stolen the show, the sides still had their moment, with a selection of fresh mixed salad and our crunchy coleslaw.
We believe every guest should have something to look forward to, which is why we cater for our veggie and vegan guests too. They had the option of colourful, grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers or slow cooked BBQ pulled jackfruit drenched in smoked hickory sauce, served in a fluffy bun and topped with that crunchy coleslaw.
As always all meals were served buffet-style on wooden disposable crockery with matching wooden cutlery.
