As the world continues to develop and change, as data centres become the new normal and resource management becomes ever more important, it is good to know that there are safe pairs of hands like those at Veolia who are looking out for the future and continuing to innovate on greener solutions for waste and resource management in all aspects of future technology.
Of course, securing our future like that sure makes for hungry work, so last week the staff at Veolia’s Norwich site at Longwater Industrial Estate were treated to a very special hog roast lunch, courtesy of Hog Roast Norwich’s corporate catering team. As a caterer that relies upon local produce and the quality of local pigs, we too have a strong belief in greener solutions across all industries, so it was a real privilege to be able to cater for a like-minded team. Plus, in joining the experts in waste management, we too showed our capabilities with waste by making sure there was absolutely none from our fresh hog roast and side accompaniments – though the eagerness of the Veolia team to come back in for seconds and thirds might have had a big say in helping with that.
Yes, this was very special corporate catered lunch served up for a great new client of ours. As always, the Hog Roast Norwich corporate catering team is on the lookout for new local and global businesses to add to our portfolio. There are many businesses in the area we work with week to week in some cases to provide lunch options for staff. Others come as one offs. With Veolia we hope it to be more akin to the latter, should they wish to enjoy even more of our delicious hog roasts, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, BBQ pulled jackfruit. creamy slaw, mixed leaves, crispy crackling and sage and onion stuffing. It was good enough to have the pig picked clean the first time around, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed to hear from the Veolia team again soon for another Hog Roast Norwich event in the not too distant future!
