The Skansa crew have been hard at work transforming the A47 between North Tuddenham and Easton in Norfolk from a single carriageway into a dual carriageway. The project has been a huge investment into Norfolk and its road links and is going to make a real difference to the local area when it is complete. This project is a big deal as the upgrade will improve journey times, reduce traffic jams, and create safer roads — big wins for drivers, businesses, and residents alike. To celebrate part of the project being completed, the team are enjoying a well-deserved meal from Hog Roast Long Hunstanton. Our catering managers Ria and Paul will be serving our classic hog roast menu for 60 guests to enjoy, at Ipswich YM RUFC.
On the 12th of July, the Hog Roast Long Hunstanton team arrived at the venue in the morning and got to work on preparing for 20:00 serving time. We began by slow-roasting the hog and allowing the succulent pork to cook to perfection for over five hours. Once ready, the juicy pork was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. Additionally, we provided herb dressed baby potatoes, grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, gourmet coleslaw, a mixed leaf salad, and a tomato and mozzarella salad. Overall, this created a varied and delicious menu, with plenty of dishes for every guest to enjoy. Our catering was a huge success and it was great to see the Skansa team enjoy a break after so much hard work!
