On 5th April 2026, at Hemsby Beach Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth, Kirsty Gills rugby club enjoyed exactly that, a delicious feast designed to bring everyone together after an exciting tour. Our team were honoured to cater for 300 deserving guests and we at Hog Roast Great Yarmouth aimed to deliver an unforgettable dining experience, perfectly timed for a 1pm serving time. With catering managers Paul and Ria ensuring that all guests were happy and well fed, guests enjoyed seamless service, tasty flavours and a menu that catered to everyone.
At the heart of the event was the main attraction, a whole roasted pig, served with perfectly crisp crackling. And what’s a classic roast dinner without the accompaniments of classic favourites like apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, these traditional flavors are guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest or heartiest appetites. Guests can build their perfect plate with a selection of bread rolls and wraps, including gluten free options (available on request) which ensured all dietary needs were considered 
long before the guests arrived.

Alongside the hog roast, a thoughtfully prepared vegetarian and vegan menu ensures everyone feels included. Guests were able to enjoy grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, served with wraps, refreshing tzatziki and a sweet chilli sauce. Alternatively, the vegan pulled jackfruit, slow cooked in a rich hickory BBQ sauce and served in a bun, offers a delicious plant based option that doesn’t compromise on flavour.
The catering was designed to match the scale and spirit of the event. Everything was served with napkins and disposable plates, keeping things simple and stress free for the Kirsty Gills Rugby Club. It allowed everyone from players to supporters to relax, refuel and enjoy the occasion surrounded by great people and delicious food.
