The Hog Roast Aylsham team are experts in creating memorable events for a deserving group of people and this was no different on the 27th of November, when we set up at the MA8 Murphy compound and began serving up a comforting and hearty menu for the team’s hardworking employees.
We were catering for 120 guests and long before the serve time of 12pm, our dedicated catering team were hard at work, slow roasting the tender pork on site and preparing a variety of festive sides so that the guests could create their perfect plate. Our friendly catering managers Paul and Ria were both behind the scenes and serving up, making sure every detail was covered and the hosts could sit back and relax whilst creating a memorable experience.
This type of event is one we always look forward to, appreciating great people over flavorsome food and providing a lunchtime feast to break up the working day.
This menu leans into classic winter comfort: rich flavours, roasted sides, and generous portions to warm everyone up. The turkey is, of course, the showstopper, traditional and tender, which is the winning choice for our main event. We pride ourselves on ensuring that no guest goes unnoticed, which is why we provide options no
matter what people’s dietary requirements are. For our vegetarian/vegan option this year we have a roasted vegetable, falafel and black olive bake. No festive meal is complete without the classic sides, creamy cauliflower cheese, glazed seasonal vegetables, fluffy yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes and savoury pigs in blankets, all smothered in rich gravy.
And of course, everything will be served with wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery, keeping things practical and easy for the team to grab and go, to enjoy during their lunch break.
Lunchtime can sometimes be a rushed or overlooked part of a busy working day, but events like this turn it into something the whole team can enjoy together. It’s the reason we love being part of these onsite catering days. For us at Hog Roast Aylsham, it’s not just about the food, it’s about creating a moment in the middle of a workday where everyone can slow down, eat well, and enjoy a bit of the festivities.
