No event is too big for our team at Hog Roast Wymondham, even with our larger events, our catering managers know how to keep guests full and satisfied and ensure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. On October 10th, staff at Multimatic CFT took a break from their busy schedules and swapped their usual lunch for an unforgettable feast.
With 150 guests to cater for, Hog Roast Wymondham, served up something a little different with not just one but two of our most popular menus on offer for all employees. The afternoon was thoughtfully planned to make sure the staff got exactly what they were looking forward to. To keep the event organised, staff were given tickets for their menu, splitting the employees into groups of 75 people and directed to each food station. One station serving up the bold flavours of our Southern Slow Roast and the other our tasty Gourmet BBQ menu.
Situated at the Southern Slow Roast Station, guests were treated to a spread of flavoursome and smoky meats, alongside our vegetarian and vegan options so that no guest missed out on what was on offer this Friday. This included a selection of mains such as grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers and BBQ pulled jackfruit. Guests could also pile their plate high with fresh bread rolls and wraps, all served up on our bamboo plates and cutlery, meaning the guests could focus on feasting on the variety of options and our catering team could make keeping everyone well fed and satisfied.
Moments away on the other side of the venue, the other half of the employees were treated to a selection of BBQ favourites from burgers and sausages to thai chicken kebabs and smoky ribs. Similar to the Slow Roast Station, all dietary needs were catered for with veggie burgers, veggie sausages, grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers and our BBQ jackfruit for a plant-based twist. Plates were brimming with sides, as everyone was spoilt for choice with fresh green leaves, greek salad, pasta salad, crunchy coleslaw and of course the carbs! Which were either herby new potatoes or crispy sweet potato fries.
The catering managers Paul and Ria, as well as the rest of the Hog Roast Wymondham team were all on hand to make sure the queues dwindled quickly and that every plate was filled within minutes of the guests stepping up to either station.
Colleagues could mingle and forget about the stresses of the modern working world by enjoying the autumn sun over a delicious lunchtime treat. Thank you to everyone at Multimatic CFT for having us and reminding everyone that food can bring people together even during a busy work day.
