Hog Roast Sutton Brandon can create an event to remember no matter what the day throws at us and that is exactly what happened last Saturday when we catered for 40 guests at Vikki’s mum’s birthday celebrations.

Despite the rain trying to dampen the mood, our Hog Roast Sutton Brandon catering team and all of Vikki’s guests stayed in high spirits. Gazebos were up and smiles stayed on faces throughout, proving that we can cater for any event come rain or shine! Catering managers Ria and Paul, ensured that everything ran smoothly and all details were considered to ensure that Vikki’s vision to create a birthday to remember for her mum went to plan, despite the obstacles.
Our southern slow roast menu is always a crowd-pleaser but it is particularly perfect for a crisp autumn evening. The guests tucked into BBQ Pork Butt, Texan BBQ Brisket which was slow roasted to perfection for over 24 hours and melted in the mouth, as well as tender cajun chicken. All of the meat was served up with a selection of freshly baked bread rolls. 
Of course no meat platter is complete without a good sauce to compliment it, we had a selection of three options: a smoky, sweet BBQ glaze, fiery cajun hot pepper sauce for our spice lovers and a hickory bourbon BBQ sauce, there was truly something for everyone.
Never to forget our vegetarian guests who could tuck in to grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, served with soft wraps and either a fresh tzatziki dip or sweet chilli sauce. All that was left to add to their plates were the sides. On offer were a range of fresh sides, including herby new potatoes, buttery corn cobbettes and a greek salad.
All of the food was served up on bamboo crockery, which meant the guests could catch up with each other whilst enjoying the delicious food, which was the perfect addition to the relaxed garden party vibe.
Hog Roast Sutton Brandon were honoured to be a part of such a special event, it was clear how loved the guest of honour is as the guests created memories for years to come. As the evening drew to a close, the family and friends enjoyed a fireworks display which was the perfect ending to an unforgettable night.
